Clay Camp (June 2025)
Clay Camp (June 2025)
Looking to keep your creative little human purposefully occupied this term break? Let them unleash their creative side at The Potters’ Guilt Clay Camp! Build their momentum up gradually over 3-days honing and exploring the various approaches of working with clay as a medium before returning 1 more day to glaze (colour) all the pieces made!
There are different learning styles suited for every child and kinaesthetic learners prefer working with their hands creatively, deriving learning from sensorial experiences. Clay is one malleable medium that encourages manageable manipulation for ideas to take form. Allow your child to learn through touch as they discover colours, form and medium through each project!
From working with coloured clay on press moulds to pinching and image transfer onto clay slabs - honing their handbuilding techniques through their own discovery. They will also get the try out the Potters’ Wheel this time! There will be more than one Eureka! moment for sure.
Outcome: 4 items (cup, dish, pencil holder, wheel thrown item)
