Thomas Cheong

Thomas is a member of the International Academy for Ceramics and an experienced educator for the last 15 years after graduating with Masters of Fine Arts from the Tainan University of the Arts in Taiwan. He has completed several artist residencies in Asia, Canada, Finland, the USA and was the Singaporean representative for the Kohler Art Exhibition. He was awarded the Silver Award in the 1st New Taipei City Ceramics Award and an invited artist to the 9th Cheongju Craft Biennale in Korea. Thomas enjoys making deliciously delicate work and is a great person to have around when you are throwing on the wheel or a tantrum.

Daisy Toh

Daisy completed her IB at SOTA before going on to graduate with a Bachelors of Arts from National Taiwan University of Arts for which she was awarded 2nd place in her cohort exhibition. She went on to complete a residency in HO-CA Tajimi, Japan and an internship with ACERA Liven USA Inc. in Shan Dong Province, China after with exhibitions in Singapore, Taiwan and Jing De Zhen, China. She was also awarded the FRANZ Rising Star Award and Scholarship, an international competition for ceramics students in 2018. She is currently working on a new series of new works for an upcoming exhibition at the Orchard ION gallery later this year.

Todd Tok

Todd is the last of his kind to graduate from LASALLE College of the Arts with Diploma in Fine Arts, Ceramics, 2005. He went on to participate in residency programs in Japan, China, Hungary, Indonesia, Australia, Thailand & Korea before his subsequent enrolment into the MFA program at Tainan National University of the Arts (TNNUA), Taiwan. After graduating in 2018, he had been invited to lead the wood firing program at Arctic City Center, Posio, Finland and also as Summer Resident Artist at Center for Contemporary Ceramics, California State University, Long Beach, USA. He spends a good amount of time shuttling between Singapore and Taiwan for projects and teaching stints while he awaits to embark on his PhD programme later this year.

Teo Huey Min

Huey Min graduated with her MFA from the Tainan University of the Arts and has completed several artist residencies in Japan, China, Korea, Canada and Finland and was Resident Artist for 3 years at the Utatsuyama Craft Workshop in Kanazawa, Japan. She was awarded the UNESCO City of Craft Memorial Award- bronze prize at the 6th Kikuchi Biennale (2015). She gets a kick out of fussing over the meticulous process of mold-making.
